Carbon & Potassium Permanganate Filter for Phoenix Guardian R Air Scrubber

This gas-phase filter uses a dual-media blend of activated carbon and potassium permanganate to eliminate the wide range of gaseous contaminants that standard particulate filters leave behind. It's a direct drop-in replacement for the pleated fabric filter.

How the media works:

• Activated carbon captures heavier volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
• Potassium permanganate neutralizes lower molecular weight contaminants, including the smoke odors commonly encountered after fire damage

Built-in color indicator takes the guesswork out of replacement:

• Black — New, full capacity
• Pink — Loading up
• Brown — Nearing end of life
• White — Replace immediately

Once the filter begins turning white, it has lost most of its effectiveness. Don't wait — swap it out at the first sign of white.
