The Kestrel 5200 delivers the same trusted accuracy and reliability as the original Kestrel 4200 and 4300, with a complete suite of environmental measurements and specialty calculations in one of the most compact meters and data loggers available. Enter a duct shape and size and the 5200 converts air speed into air flow, so you get CFM without doing the math.
The 5200 tracks and logs over 10,000 sets of time-stamped data. With the LiNK option, data transfers wirelessly to an iOS or Android device through the Kestrel LiNK app. Data can also be moved to a Windows or Mac computer with the Kestrel LiNK Dongle or the waterproof USB Data Transfer Cable (both sold separately).
In addition to measuring current conditions, the Concrete Target Evaporation Rate Solver displays the level of cracking risk based on user-defined weather conditions and shows which environmental factors may need adjusting to prevent plastic shrinkage cracking.
Like all Kestrel meters, the 5200 is drop-proof, dust-proof, and waterproof, with an extra-strong polycarbonate lens and a dual color backlight. Kestrel meters are relied on by U.S. Special Forces, combat weather teams, wildland firefighters, and construction managers around the world.
