The Tramex Water Damage Kit is a complete kit comprising the Moisture Encounter MEX5 3-in-1 moisture meter, a hammer-action pin probe and a heavy-duty pin probe, and allows for both non-destructive and pin moisture content readings of drywall, wood, plaster, brick, ceramic tiles, resilient flooring, laminates and roofing and numerous building materials.
The Moisture Encounter MEX5 moisture meter measures moisture content in wood and drywall and provides comparative readings in a variety of building materials.
The MEX5 moisture meter features dual depth measuring range. Deep Depth penetration of up to 1¼" (30mm) and Shallow Depth penetration of up to ⅜” (9mm). The dual depth readings of surface and core moisture can be compared to eliminate the influence of the substrate when testing coverings.
It also features a built-in hygrometer for ambient conditions and psychrometric values and an Infrared Surface Thermometer, plus two hand-held probes: a hammer-action pin-type electrode for driving insulated pins deep into wood and wood substrates, and a heavy-duty pin-type wood probe for wood, drywall, and WME readings.
Bluetooth connectivity to the Tramex Meters App allows for visualization of readings, moisture mapping and data reporting to mobile devices, to GeoTag test results, create, save and share photos, reports and charts, as well as see your meter screen on your phone when extending to hard to reach places.
The Tramex MEX5 Water Damage Kit comes with a protective easy-travel case.
