Airbotx 440X Hydroxyl

The Airbotx 440X Hydroxyl is built to eliminate moderate to severe odors common in cleaning and restoration work, including smoke, mold and mildew, marijuana, water losses, sewage, tobacco, animals, crime scene, and biohazard. A built-in variable-speed fan pushes up to 700 CFM, so you do not need to lug extra air movers to the job.

How It Works

The 440X pulls air from the room through MERV 10 and HEPA filters, removing dust, dander, mold spores, and pollen. The air then passes through a chamber containing four UV-C lamps using two wavelengths: 185 nm creates ozone, and 254 nm breaks it down into hydroxyl radicals and other powerful oxidants. Those oxidants are pushed back into the environment to neutralize odors and VOCs in the air and on contents and structures. Most of the ozone produced inside the unit is destroyed before exiting, but ozone levels should still be monitored when running in occupied areas (follow the instruction manual).
